Anytime a visitor can’t find what they are looking for when they search a website they get the 404 page. I believe that every great website deserves a custom 404 page.  So I searched for some custom 404 designs that can be used to spark some inspiration for you to make your very own custom 404 error page.  Enjoy.

These are good. I think it’s important to stylize not only the look, but the content of your 404 to suit your client.

I recently did one for an accommodation place located near a famous location of a fictional disappearance. So my 404 for that site played on that and the whole missing thing, with text like “The page you seek has mysteriously vanished”
