Basically this blog will serve to try and replicate many other components that are out there and comment on them so new comers to flex can just follow and see how the Application is getting constructed and hopefully it will serve well the new comers. I will try to follow best practices and what not.  I am new comer to flex and ActionScript is my first programming Language so what i did was rewrite many of the components  without looking at their source code that are out there and commenting on them as I went. All i would do is observe their behavior and try to replicate it. I rewrote almost 1/4th of the FlexLib http://code.google.com/p/flexlib/ with newer code and tons of comment which i will share later. Anyhow, hopefully this will serve as a good starting point.
